Quilt Barns or Barn Quilts

Here in Kentucky, we call them Barn Quilts, while Ohio calls them Quilt Barns. Of course, it all started in Ohio, but as I work with many quilt trails, it gets a little confusing during discussions. As the American Quilt Trail grows, I have begun using the term Quilt Trails as much as possible. and for now, when in Rome... Should we try to come together and agree on a term? Or agree to disagree?

I like to think of it like this: You paint a barn quilt and mount it on a quilt barn which then becomes part of the quilt trail.

OK, I have been checking the poll results on the home page, and I am wondering what the "other" is. What are you "other " people, calling your quilt patterns hanging on barns.

I have always called them Quilt Barns. I'll put up a Poll on the front page and gather some data.
