Elise, what a splendid Osceola County barn – is this one yours?! Do you know when it was built and how it was used? What is the quilt design name? It is lovely. I am happy you joined our group! If I may be of help with information – please contact me.

No, it's not my barn. Actually, the block that is my "photo" in my profile is on my garage, and that is our group's logo--a block I designed a few years ago. The block on the barn is "54-40 or Fight". Haven't got the story yet. It's owned by the daughter & son-in-law of one of our committee members. We wanted to get one up on a real barn yet this year so people could see what we're talking about, and hopefully they'll want one.

What a beautiful barn quilt design, Elsie! Thanks for sharing it. And the double color border really sets it off. Good luck with your project in Michigan
